TL;DR: CameraShape runs entirely in your browser. We don't upload, store, or share your photos. No account, no tracking.
What CameraShape does
CameraShape uses your device's camera through the standard web API (MediaDevices.getUserMedia) after you grant permission. Your photos are composed into a mosaic image locally and can be downloaded as a JPG. No image is ever sent to a server — we don't operate image-receiving servers.
What we collect
Nothing personal. No account, no email, no name. We don't set tracking cookies.
Local storage (gallery)
If you accept the one-time prompt, CameraShape saves your generated mosaics to your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) so they aren't lost when you close the tab. The images stay on your device — they are never uploaded. You can delete individual mosaics or wipe the whole gallery from the result screen, or clear your browser's site data to remove everything. Decline the prompt and nothing is stored.
Camera permission
Your browser handles the permission prompt. We receive video frames only while the app is open in your tab. Closing the tab or navigating away releases the camera stream.
Third parties
We do not share data with third parties, because we do not collect data. We do not embed third-party trackers or advertising networks.
Children
If a minor uses CameraShape, a parent or guardian is responsible for supervising camera use. Because nothing leaves the device, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
